Just imagine yourself swimming or fishing in this river. All is calm, there's a breeze in the air, and the birds are singing. It's a lovely scene, right? But then, out of nowhere, you're confronted by this terrifying sight of freshwater eels rising to the river surface. They're slimy and slippery, and although they're essentially harmless, they are apparently quite bad-tempered. So, if you're on their territory, they may bite you!

We’d move faster than a hurricane to get out of the water if we saw these guys heading toward us. Nature may be beautiful, but maybe not in this instance.
