Humans adopt animals all the time, but did you know that animals also adopt? Murphy, on the right, is a bald-headed eagle who tried to painstakingly hatch what he thought was an egg for months. However, what he didn't realize was that it was actually a rock! When the animal center realized what he was doing, they gave him an orphaned chick to raise - and he took to this role like a duck to water.
