The Bond Between Two Brothers

As they were growing up, Clarance and John Anglin were as close as thieves (if you want to pardon the metaphor). They were a cherry-picking family that would frequently go as far as Michigan in order to collect the delectable fruit. During the course of their journey, they strengthened their friendship by swimming in the lakes of Michigan, which is something that will come in handy in the future.

They also had a darker side; in 1956 they were caught for bank robbery. Conversely, as the following account will show, this arrest of the brothers did not mark the end of the saga.
