The master planner and the one in charge of the proposal was a man called Frank Lee Morris. He was the real article; he was a seasoned crook with inventiveness and bright, skillful ability. Growing up was difficult for him and he had to learn how to survive the hard way. When eleven years old, he was an orphan. Having been found guilty of a crime at the young age of 13, he was a hothead whose upbringing mirrored his own. Having a complicated background surely would present challenges.

With a mind as sharp as his, it seemed clear that this young man was destined for great things; nevertheless, fate had other ideas for him and he became famously known as the ringleader of Alcatraz's Great Escape!
